About Lily
Lily Andrews grew up in a house with a garden that felt more like a forest. Her grandmother pressed flowers in heavy encyclopedias and mounted them in gilded frames. Lily inherited those frames, and then the practice.
Today, Lily runs a botanical studio where she forages, dries, presses, and arranges natural materials into artworks, greeting cards, and framed collections. She holds a certificate in botanical illustration and collaborates with local nature reserves on educational materials about native plant species.
Her tutorials are meditative and slow. Lily believes the best craft is the kind that forces you to pay attention to the world around you — to notice the particular curl of a dried fern frond, or the translucency of a pressed violet. Her readers often tell her that her projects changed how they walk through nature.
Lily is based in the English countryside, where she forages year-round and keeps a studio full of hanging botanicals in various stages of drying.
